Mission

Nanaskomaow Kisemanito, The Clear Hills Youth Treatment Centre is a distinctive healing and treatment program based on Indigenous traditions, ceremony, culture, and land-based teachings.

Vision

Nanaskomaow Kisemanito, using teachings left to us from our ancestors, the Clear Hills Youth Treatment Centre will offer programming that ensures every youth’s unique healing journey to strengthening the belief in oneself is supported through First Nation culture and western approaches to recovery and wellness.

CHYTC Governance

Clear Hills Youth Treatment Centre Board Appointments will be on 5-year Terms  

Board Composition includes:  

  • Chief from Horse Lake First Nation: Ramona Horseman  
  • Council Member from Horse Lake First Nation: Bruce Horseman  
  • Representative from Treaty 6: TBA  
  • Representative from Treaty 7: Aaron Khan  
  • Representative from Treaty 8: Delainah Velichka  

Elders and Youth Advisory Groups will support decision making within the Executive Board as Subject Matter Experts in the formal Board Structure.
